Results from the 2nd annual event, held on January 26th, and co-chaired by Gary Pickard and Bill White, involving 20 visiting teams from Ottawa and the Valley. Clubs represented: Perth, Manotick, Maxville, Huntley, Richmond, Metcalfe, RCMP, Smiths Falls, Prescott, Granite, Brockville, RA High two game winner and recipient of the Royal Lepage Gale Real Estate Championship Shield Larry Skinner's rink from Manotick Curling Centre comprised of skip, Skinner, third, Ron Found , second, Roy Garrett, and lead, Ken Wood. MANOTICK RINK WINS NGCC - SENIOR MEN'S INVITATIONAL CASHSPIEL By Jim Dolan Congratulations to Larry Skinner's rink from the Manotick Curling Centre. Larry and his teamates Ron Found third, Roy Garrett second, and Ken Wood lead, were the overall winners of the 2nd annual Senior Men's Invitational Cashspiel held at the North Grenville Curling Club in Kemptville of Friday January 26. In addition to cash, the team was also presented with the Royal Lepage Gale Real Estate Associates Shield (see photo). Twenty visiting teams from 12 different curling clubs; Perth, Manotick, Maxville, Huntley, Richmond, Metcalfe, RCMP, Smiths Falls, Prescott, Granite, Brockville, and the RA participated in the event, co-chaired by Gary Pickard and Bill White, President of the NGCC. The Runner-up rink of Doug Niblock, skip, Gord Buchan third, Bud Ennis second, and Gord Burke lead, were from the Perth Curling Club.
