Welcome to the North Grenville Curling Club (NGCC)

Registration Dates:  September 11 and 16 - click for details The North Grenville Curling Club has just completed 5 exciting and successful years. The club has five sheets of arena ice and an active recreational and competitive curling program details of which can be viewed on this website. In addition, the club runs and active social calendar with many internal and external bonspiels for its membership. I would like to start the season by welcoming back our past membership as well as extending a warm greeting to our new members.  There will be an introductory course held for anyone interested in trying out the sport of curling for $20/person starting on September 19th (see details below). We will also have practice ice available from 6:00pm-7:30 every Tuesday night for all members of the club. League play (ice permitting) is scheduled to begin on October 12th and practice ice should be available the previous week. Practice ice during the year will be available Tuesday nights (not Monday) from 6:00-7:30pm. The Oktoberfest Spiel will be held on October 16th.  Please sign up at registration or email ngcurlingclub@gmail.com. There will be two 6 end games in the afternoon followed by an Oktoberfest meal and refreshments at a cost of $12/person.  October 29th is the Senior Ladies Bonspiel, an invitational bonspiel that we have now held successfully for 5 years and once again we will be hosting the OVCA Ladies Classic on November 5th ,6th  and 7th. We are hosting an Introduction to Curling $20/person, 5 Hours of Instruction Come and join us for an introductory course in curling. There will be 5 one hour classes which will include 1 hour of introductory theory followed by four hours of ice time.  All you need to bring is a clean pair of running shoes and warm clothing. Brooms and sliders will be provided.  There is no obligation to join the club.
