![]() NGCC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - Sunday June 7th, 2009, 2:00 PM |
|
| Welcome to the North Grenville Curling Club
(NGCC) To all of our members, I say “WELCOME”. It is great to have another curling season under way. We have many returning members and a significant number of new curlers. It is my hope that every member of this club feels comfortable and welcome when curling or participating in our social events. Curling is a social sport and a great way to meet people in your community that you may not otherwise get to know. Take advantage of this opportunity to perhaps make new friends and have some fun. Your curling club is a dynamic and active place that is supported almost solely by volunteers. We have had a couple of good years as a new club and we are getting the reputation for having a first-rate club. This has been accomplished because of the facility, the quality of the ice, and especially the hard work and friendly nature of our membership. If, as members of the club, you would like to get involved and are not sure how you could help please feel free to contact me or any one of the executive board. We would be happy to provide some suggestions as there is always a need for volunteers. You can approach me directly or send an e-mail to ngcurlingclub@gmail.com I am asking each and every one of you to work towards making the North Grenville Curling Club a fun and inviting place to spend some time. We can all make curling at the North Grenville Curling Club an enjoyable experience and ensure our continued success. See you on the ice! Sincerely Gary Drawson President |

| The North Grenville Curling Club appreciates the support of The Ontario Trillium Foundation grant which allowed the purchase proper-sized stones for youth curlers and an ice scraper to enhance the quality of the ice surface for the enjoyment of all curlers in the community. | |
| The North Grenville Curling Club recognizes that without the financial support of the Canada-Ontario Infrastructure Program our dream could not have become a reality. | |
